According to rumors, the 2023 release of the iPhone Pro model will feature under-display camera technology.

Samsung Display is creating a new under-panel camera technology for Apple that will conceal Face ID behind the display, according to sources cited by the Korean website, The Elec. Also, he mentioned that the iPhone 15 Pro versions that would be unveiled in 2019 will feature this technology.
While there aren’t even many phones that make use of under-glass camera technology, Samsung is now developing an under-panel camera system for Apple. The currently available Galaxy Z Fold 3 includes an under-display camera, which lowers its pixel density to let light travel through the display to the camera. As a result, the image quality is noticeably worse. The under-the-glass FaceID that will be utilized for the iPhone 15 Pro may have a nicer design than the notch, but it is not yet clear if it will be as safe and reliable as the Notch. According to Samsung, OTI Lumionics in Canada is helping to develop this technology.
