The event highlighted China’s growing ambitions in AI and robotics, with major players like Fourier Intelligence, AgiBot, Deep Robotics, and Robotera demonstrating advanced machines in action as the exhibition wrapped up on July 29.

According to various online media outlets, China’s humanoid robotics sector hit a milestone at WAIC 2025, showcasing over 150 robots and 60 new models, with expanded functions and participation from 80 embodied intelligence enterprises.

At WAIC 2025, Shanghai Electric unveiled its first industrial humanoid robot, SUYUAN, featuring 38 degrees of freedom and 275 TOPS for advanced, fluid performance.
