At present, the village is cultivating more than 400 acres of rice and shrimp in China with the development system of rice cultivation + shrimp farming, using the soybean + corn + shrimp feeding pattern. The harvesting period lasts from July of that year to April of the following year, and the value of lobster production per Chinese acre can reach more than 3.1 million yuan.
The Rice Farming + Lobster Farming Development System is a joint operation model of agriculture and livestock. Insects and microbes in the paddy fields provide food for the growth and survival of the lobsters, and the excrement produced by the lobsters.
The excrement produced by the lobster provides fertilizer for the growth and survival of rice. Crayfish captures pests in rice fields, helping to reduce pests for rice growth and reducing pollution in agriculture.
