Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos congratulated coach Zinedine Zidane on his successful season with the club, after the Blancos clinched their 34th La Liga title with a victory over Las Palmas on Sunday.
Ramos said: “The team has great players and he [Zidane] has given them the right instructions, helped them integrate well and got them playing to their best abilities. He’s a great coach, someone who always takes care of his players.”
Zidane, meanwhile, was happy to have led the Blancos to their first league title in five years, adding: “This year has been a very special year for me as a coach and for Real Madrid. We’ve come back from difficult moments and we’re very proud of what we’ve done.”
