Manchester City set a new Premier League scoring record against Newcastle United on Saturday.

The score was 3-1 in Manchester City’s favor, and it marked their fourth consecutive victory. The previous Premier League record for most goals scored in a single season was 98, set by Chelsea in 2004.

Manuel Pellegrini’s team is now on track to break that record. They currently have 102 points, which is two more than Chelsea had at this point in the season.
