Liverpool played their first ever game at the Etihad Stadium in February 2013, winning 1-0 against Manchester City. City have won the last three Premier League titles at the Etihad Stadium, but Klopp is looking forward to testing himself against one of Europe’s most successful teams.
The Liverpool coach said that he prefers to play at the Etihad Stadium rather than playing the match against Manchester City. “Playing at the Etihad Stadium is a dream come true for us,” Klopp said. “We have had some fantastic games there and hopefully we can create some more memories there.”
