John Terry’s father is angry because he chose Chelsea over Manchester United. Terry senior was a defender for Manchester United and helped the team win the Premier League and UEFA Champions League back-to-back in the 1990s. But he says his son made a mistake when he signed for Chelsea in 2003. “Terry has always been a good player but at Chelsea, he made himself into a great player,” his father told The Daily Telegraph. “He had terrific managers at both clubs but I think it was easier for him to develop at Chelsea because they were winning titles.”
