Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has described Liverpool as a “machine” and said that he is looking forward to facing them in the Champions League this season. Mbappe, 18, told L’Equipe: “Liverpool are a machine. They’re one of the favourites for the Champions League and for good reason.
“I’m excited to play them. They’re a very physical team who will give us a good match.” Liverpool finished runners-up in Jurgen Klopp’s first season in charge, but Mbappe is confident they can challenge for the title this season. “They’re a very good team,” he said. “They have a lot of quality players and they play well together. Last season they were second, but I’m sure they’ll do better this time.
