Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has spoken out against forced training sessions, insisting that his players should not be forced to take part if they do not want to. Speaking ahead of their Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday, Klopp said: “I have never done this in my life. If somebody is not fit enough, then we train another day. I am not going to force them.”

The German boss went on to say that training is a privilege and should be enjoyed by all players, no matter their fitness level. “We have a lot of young players and it’s important for them that they enjoy football,” he added.
