Huawei, formerly the top smartphone manufacturer in the world, is now a player in the electric vehicle market.




According to reports, Huawei and the significant Chinese state-owned automaker BAIC would collaborate to build electric vehicles under the BAIC brand. The infotainment and driver assistance systems in Huawei-powered electric vehicles will be viewed as utilizing Huawei technology.
According to a report from IT Home, Huawei, and Huawei Company are preparing to launch a new electric car brand, with Huawei being in charge of market distribution. At Huawei’s previous product showrooms, the new EV brand vehicles will only be sold and distributed. The automobiles will be made by BAIC, the sixth-largest manufacturer in China, while Huawei will offer technical assistance for the platform it has developed called Huawei DriveONE.
