How to Make Bibimbap







Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 100g beef (thinly sliced)
- 1 small zucchini (julienned)
- 1 small carrot (julienned)
- 100g spinach (blanched and squeezed)
- 100g bean sprouts (blanched)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Soy sauce, salt, and sesame seeds (to taste)
Instructions:
- Prepare Vegetables:
- Sauté zucchini and carrot separately in a lightly oiled pan, seasoning with a pinch of salt.
- Toss blanched spinach with 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
- Season blanched bean sprouts with a dash of salt and sesame seeds.
- Cook Beef:
- Marinate beef in 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and minced garlic for 10 minutes. Stir-fry until cooked.
- Fry Eggs:
- Fry eggs sunny-side-up.
- Assemble:
- Place warm rice in bowls. Arrange beef, vegetables, and egg on top in sections.
- Add a dollop of gochujang in the center.
- Serve:
- Drizzle with sesame oil and mix everything thoroughly before eating. Adjust spice levels with more gochujang if desired. Enjoy!
